It’s British Science Week and Compost Week and here at Martineau Gardens we are very excited to have The Compost Connection CIC running two brilliant compost workshops for us. Our volunteers are joining

in with a hands on workshop, so we can find out more about how we can improve the soil that we grow our plants and vegetables in, and we also have a Family Activity session that you can book onto.

This Saturday workshop will be a great chance for children to understand why we save our orange peels, apple cores and more, and they’ll have fun as they learn, with hands-on science experiments, activities and games.
