Visiting the Gardens in Winter  – an update

Martineau Gardens is open for public visits Mondays – Saturdays, from 10am until 4pm, (excluding bank holidays) and are free to visit. Your donations are always welcomed. As part of our Covid-19 safety measures, our public buildings and glasshouses continue to be closed to the public, unless you have hired the Pavilion. Our toilets and shipwreck play area are open. We can serve you hot drinks outside. So wrap up warm, enjoy a brisk walk around the gardens, a breath of fresh air and a little bit of peace and quiet in our tranquil gardens.

In the light of the latest government announcements, if you need to visit the Office, please wear a mask if you are able to and observe social distancing.

Over the Festive period

We close at 4pm Thursday 23 December and reopen 10am Tuesday 4 January, 2022.
