Michelin-starred Birmingham chef Glynn Purnell paid a visit to Martineau Gardens earlier this month to select vegetables for cooking in a feature for a new TV programme called ‘Market Garden – Big Adventure’. Stewart showed Glynn around the gardens, and harvested some produce for him to try. Glynn was particularly interested in the kiwis (that were growing around reception), the rainbow sweetcorn and the Jerusalem artichokes. Glynn cooked with Martineau Gardens vegetables in the show. The programme was broadcast on the Good Food Guide cable channel.
