Martineau Gardens is a beautiful community garden and a charity, located two miles from Birmingham City Centre. An oasis for wildlife, a haven of tranquility or simply a destination for an outdoor escape, there are two and a half acres of organically managed landscape for you to explore.

A therapeutic community garden

Get inspired about the natural environment. We run a Therapeutic Horticulture programme for volunteers (many who have mental health issues and learning difficulties) and provide education sessions for school children on science and nature. To read more about our charitable objectives, click here.

Organic plants and produce for sale

Through our demonstration vegetable beds, orchard, herb beds and bee hives, we hope to inspire ideas about where food comes from and how to grow it.
