Can I hire Martineau Gardens for my celebration?
Booking a party ocurring between now and 19 July
Martineau Gardens may be booked outdoors only (includes toilets) for maximum group size of 30 (adults and children included). The fee between for this period time is £30 per hour, subject to availability.
The Pavilion cannot be booked until after 19 July 2021, roadmap permitting.
Enquiries by email only, to [email protected]. In your email, please give the date, start and finish time, expected number of guests (adults / children) and your contact details. (Please don’t use the booking form for parties taking place before 19 July.)
Booking a party on or after 19 July
From 19 July you will be able to hire the Pavilion as well as the Gardens. We are now limiting party size to 50 people (adults and children). If you wish to have a celebration for a greater number of people, please send an email with your plans and a member of staff will get back to you. For all private events such as these, we recommend that you visit before making a booking if you are not familiar with the Gardens.

(With apologies, we will reply to you as soon as possible – please don’t telephone the Gardens with venue hire bookings, since we are restricted in responding to telephone enquiries as we comply to safe working practices.)

The person making the booking is responsible for all arrangements. We suggest you bring bin bags and take your rubbish home. If you want us to dispose of your rubbish there is a charge of £5 per bag. This is the cost to us from Birmingham City Council for commercial waste disposal.
Bookings taken on the understanding that postponement or cancellation may be necessary if government rules change.
