Covid-19 Update – with regard to 19 July – Easing of Restrictions
Can I hire Martineau Gardens for my celebration?
We are a wildlife friendly garden, so please take a moment to take this on board, as you plan your celebration.
Because of the harm it does to the wildlife that finds a home here, we ask you please to note the following – no balloons (sorry, but they pop and the remnants disperse throughout the gardens), no glittery confetti (it doesn’t biodgrade) no bouncy castles, go-karts or loud music.
Please come to Martineau Gardens and contribute your peace to the tranquility.
Booking a party on or after 19 July
From 19 July you will be able to hire the Pavilion as well as the Gardens. We are now limiting party size to 50 people (adults and children). For all private events such as these, we recommend that you visit before making a booking if you are not familiar with the Gardens. When you are ready to make your booking, please download and complete this booking form and email it to [email protected] .
(With apologies, we will reply to you as soon as possible – please don’t telephone the Gardens with venue hire bookings, since we are restricted in responding to telephone enquiries as we comply to safe working practices.)
If you wish to have a celebration for a greater number of people, please send an email with your plans and a member of staff will get back to you.
Booking workshops and training after in 2021
Please download this form and return to [email protected].
All bookings – please note:
The person making the booking is responsible for all arrangements. We suggest you bring bin bags and take your rubbish home. If you want us to dispose of your rubbish there is a charge of £5 per bag. This is the cost to us from Birmingham City Council for commercial waste disposal.
Bookings taken on the understanding that postponement or cancellation may be necessary if government rules change.
