Vitality Blast Cricket Parking Sat 18 Sept 18th September 2021

With test Match Cricket (and more) happening on our doorstep at Edgbaston Stadium, cricket can fans pay a fee to park their car at Martineau Gardens on selected dates. Each cricket season we usually run a ‘cricket car park’, as a fundraising activity for the Gardens.  For the final match of the year, we are returning to cash sales on the day. Find out more below.

We strongly advise non-cricket fans planning a visit to the Gardens on match days to choose another day (since there will be no public parking on these days here at Martineau Gardens and for many of the fixtures, there  are road closures in place in Edgbaston) or consider using public transport (but in line with latest government Covid-19 travel advice ).

What you need to know:

You can park your car in the Martineau Gardens car park (subject to availability) for £20* we have space for 20 cars max. Please bring cash only.

Your car is parked at your own risk. The gates will be locked or staffed, and staff will be on site throughout the match. If you wish to collect your car, before the end of the match, please phone 0121 440 7430 when you are outside the Gardens and we’ll unlock the gates.

At the end of play, the gates will be open for half an hour. Our staff will need to go home, so if you arrive later than this, you risk your car being locked in until 9am on the following morning, or an additional £20 charge will be charged. Since the Autumn Event is taking place on Sunday 19 September, and our car park is required by visitors, cars must be collected promptly at the end of the match on Saturday.

Covid-19 – Outdoor activity – rest assured, social distancing measures will meet government guidelines
