Join Juliette Green (Martineau Gardens’ Education Officer), for family sessions during the Half Term Holiday, getting to know more about the wildlife at Martineau Gardens. We will explore the woodland habitat, wildflower meadow and pond, looking at the plants and animals that live in each. Each session will finish with a food chains craft activity.
Activities suitable for children aged three to twelve years; it’s a family learning activity, so adults join in – supervised children only. Tickets only available in advance, via wegottickets.com – see direct links below.
What to wear and what to bring:
Dress appropriately for the weather, since the session will take place outside. We recommend that you wear sturdy footwear (as it may be muddy, especially near the pond) and long sleeves/trousers (some areas have holly, bramble or nettles). Bring a drink and a snack, or bring your packed lunch if you’d like to have a picnic at Martineau Gardens (after the morning session or before the afternoon session). Martineau Gardens serves hot and cold drinks but not food.
Choose one of these (identical) sessions – and you’ll be redirected to wegottickets.com (booking fee 50p)
