History

Over time the Gardens have gone through several transformations including a medieval grazing pasture, a private garden and an environmental studies centre.

Then a group of dedicated people met to save the site from commercial development and before long the Gardens became a Community Garden.

Today volunteer involvement continues to be a vital part of the way the Gardens are run.
