Firm favourites at Martineau Gardens, touring rural theatre company Folksy Theatre are returning to Martineau Gardens with one of Shakespeare’s most famous comedies, ‘Twelfth Night’, on Tuesday 22 August 2017, 6.30pm.
Two twin siblings, Viola and Sebastian, are separated in a shipwreck and Viola takes on the appearance of a man to be accepted to work in Duke Orsino’s household. It is here that the fun begins. It is a play about mistaken identities, about love and the madness it can drive us to. The production will be filled with Folksy’s touch of live music, bold characters and audience interaction. Bring along you picnics, blankets and folding chairs to enjoy this wonderful open-air performance.
Tickets go on sale on 1st April, via Folksy Theatre.
Prebooking – £13.50 adult, £10 concession, £8 child, £38 family.
On the gate – £15 adult, £12 concession, £10 child, no family ticket on the night.
