Forage and Cook Course 6th June 2017

Foraging isn’t just a countryside past-time, it can be an urban adventure too! Choose from one of these identical courses on Tuesdays 9 May or 6 June 2017 for an evening of foraging and wild cooking. Working within the beautiful location of Martineau Gardens, join the experts from Loaf cookery school. You’ll be able to learn:
– practicalities, legalities, and safety aspects of picking wild plants to eat.
– identify wild foods and how to prepare them
– stroll round the vegetable gardens looking for discarded weeds, find edible treats in the woodland and other seasonal surprises
– cook up your finds in the outdoor kitchen, in the Earth Oven or over the fire pit
